Our Commitment
We want every parent to be able to research and compare schools on Trafford Schools, regardless of ability. We design and build the site with accessibility in mind from the start, and we keep working on it as the platform grows.
Keyboard Navigation
We aim to make the site's main journeys usable without a mouse, with visible keyboard focus on interactive controls. We continue to test and improve keyboard behaviour as features are added.
Colour Contrast
We use a restrained high-contrast palette for core text and controls, and we review contrast when introducing new interface states, charts or badges.
Screen Readers
We use semantic headings and add accessible labels to controls where the visible interface does not provide enough context. We continue to review complex areas such as comparison tables, filters and interactive reports.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility isn't a one-off project – as we add new features, we review them against the same standards, and we welcome feedback on anything we've missed.
